Title: Hello from Colorado!
Post by: Nat Coalson on September 28, 2007, 02:56:19 pm
Hi everyone -

I've been lurking around the LL forums for a while and thought it's about time to say hello... I'm Nat Coalson, from Conifer, Colorado (outside Denver). My favorite photo subjects are nature and abstracts.

In addition to my personal photo work I own a digital printmaking studio (Coalson Editions) and also do a lot of teaching (field workshops, Lightroom, Photoshop, workflow and printing classes etc.)

Here is an image made last weekend at the Grottos area on Independence Pass, near Aspen. Canon 30D, Tamron 18-200 XR Di II. Converted to BW in Lightroom, with PhotoKit Sharpener and minor dodge/burn in PS CS3.

Comments and critiques always welcome.

More of my work is online at
www.NathanielCoalson.com (http://www.NathanielCoalson.com/)

... and links to my other sites are in my signature.

Thanks for looking!

Enjoyed visiting your website. You have created lots of good photographs both abstract and realistic.

Hi Nat! Nice conversion, I like the crisp detail on the rocks vs the flowing water and the way the edges lead you around the photograph.
