Title: Georgian Bay
Post by: mikeguil on August 23, 2007, 11:28:45 pm
My favourite locations are in and around Georgian Bay, Ontario.  Anywhere along the shore is great, from sandy beaches (the longest fresh-water beach in the world) to eroded rocks, waterfalls and breath-taking formations on the way up to Tobermory.

And if that's not enough, then you have the 10,000 islands (you'll definately need a boat) with wind-swept pines, cottages from the lavish to by-gone era wood framed buildings.  This is the landscape that inspired the Group of Seven and noted photographer Budd Watson.

And to top it all off... some of the best sunsets in the world.
