i'm going to be shooting in the Borneo rainforest in Sept and have been researching rain/humidity protection
i can cover my 550 off-camera effectively with a ziploc ( i think) - will the new 580 offer any meaningful extra protection?
i would like to use my Quantum turbo compact on the bottom of the camera (camera & Quantum also protected by modified ziploc since none of the covers look like they work with this combination)
will take large ziplocs and dreirite for dehumidifying
any further advice very welcome
