Title: Horseman VH (6x9 cm view camera) with accessories
Post by: Dan Wells on May 28, 2007, 01:15:23 pm
I have a Horseman VH 6x9 cm metal field view camera (which should be easily adaptable to a digital back, although I'm not sure of all the parts needed) for sale. It includes:
Horseman VH body
Horseman 90mm lens (designed specifically for this camera, covers 6x9 cm with movements, doesn't cover 4x5) on Horseman board
Fujinon-W 180 f5.6 lens (designed for 4x5, covers 6x9 with extreme movements, covers 4x5 with movements) on Horseman board
Horseman 6x9 cm (8 images on 120) roll film back
Toyo focusing loupe
Calumet darkcloth
High quality cable release - I don't know who makes it, but it is a very, very sturdy $40 cable release
M-Rock shoulder bag that fits the whole system very nicely

All of the above cost me about $1800 used two years ago, and is in near-mint condition. I also have one more piece that is not in anywhere NEAR the same condition as the above (and not included in the price I paid), and would be included if the buyer wanted it.

Sekonic Dual-Spot F spotmeter. This is in "bargain" condition. It is functional and accurate, but the display in the viewfinder has failed - it has two displays with the same information - one in the meter's finder and one on the side of the meter (which is much more comprehensive). The side display works, but the interior one does not.Digital spotmeters like this go for about $300-$350, even in bargain condition - they're over $400 if nice (but that is with the interior display working). This one's probably worth about $200-$250.

I would like to get something in the $1500 range for the whole package. I would also be interested in a trade for a Canon EOS tilt/shift lens (any of the three, I would prefer the 45 or the 90) plus some cash...
