Title: Excited

No particular reaon for the post other than that I'm digging my old Mamiya c220 out of the cupboard for a publicity photoshoot for a play, set on the mean streets of urban England in the 1960's.... Really looking forward to getting the dark bag out and shaking those developing tanks!

Twas great fun .. I found myself wishing that my client could see the trouble I was going to ... mixing and shaking until the small hours.. when I remembered that this was part of the job just a couple of years ago.. and wouldn't merit a mention at all.  It brought home to me how much digital has speeded up the workflow for this type of job... am scanning poster res files as we speak .. would have done them in 40min from digital .. taking me all afternoon with film.

But, as you said "Twas great fun". If artwork were about time, than no art would be made at all right?

Regards, Art.

I'm sure the images look much better than if you had shot digital...

I think they turned out great .. considering the brief .. both camera and film had their origins in the 1960's and the poster design was fitting that also .. below is a rough of the poster.
