Title: Monochrome with S9000
Post by: Hawkeye on March 22, 2007, 01:07:21 pm
Having a problem at the moment with my Canon S9000 - just can't seem to print monochrome without a light cyanish hue. I have tried it in both colour settings and greyscale setting. Any comment from S9000 users would be appreciated. Also done a nozzle check which indicates that all is well on that front.

On my i9900, I have to use good profiles -- I use Ilford Classic Pearl or Ilford Heavyweight Matte with their profiles.  Without profiles, I get a magenta cast.

I have also been using Photoshop's (CS2) duotones lately with very good results, especially with a cool gray duotone.
