Hi
I attempted to edit a photo in photoshop and got a strange result.
The copy appeared rediculously oversaturated and almost cartoon like. The only PS adjustments i did were Unsharp mask and a gradND filter. I performed no PS color/WB or Exp adjustments.
Does this have to do with color space differences sRGB, Adobe RGB, ProRGB??
Please advise what i may have doen wrong and how to sync the RGB color space between LR and PS.
Thanks
Brad

This sounds like a profile mismatch.
Did the odd appearance occur in Photoshop or in Lightoom? Please lay out all your steps from start to finish for this image so we can trace where things are going wrong.

I developed a vertual copy and hit edit in PS. In PS i use adobe RGB. I applied an unsharp mask and noise reduction filter. It appeared in LR once i had saved the image in PS.

You still haven't given nearly enough info for an accurate answer. Does the edited picture look wrong in Photoshop or Lightroom or both. Does it look okay in the finder preview (Mac) or the Windows preview? What is your working colour space in Pshop? Does Pshop convert your files to your working space on import? etc.....

Sounds like you don't have the color settings policies set to Preserve and the warning check boxes are off. So you probably have a mismatch between the document profile and the profile set in your color settings. Check there, then reopen the document.
