Title: Importing 3f into LR
Post by: vandevanterSH on March 19, 2007, 08:37:20 pm
I just got my CFV and I am new at "high end" digital. What is the best way to download from the CFV into LR?  (Also having trouble getting FlexColor 4.6.7 to install on my Mac; 4.6.5 installed without problems) Maybe there should be a thread for "Over My Head in Deep Water) questions.

FlexColor 4.6.7 installed without any problem on my IntelMac.
The easiest way to bring 3F pictures to Lightroom is to save them as tiff after making adjustments that only FlexColor can do ( DAC...). Hasselblad pointed out that the Color of 3F pictures is superior so keep them for further processing.
Hopefully they share some information with Adobe to integrate 3F into Lightroom.

Sincerely Ullrich

Thanks for the answer. After some more research, it looks as if you have to use FlexColor to open.fff files.  The path is probabley FlexColor & preliminary processing in FC then export as DNG to LR. (BTW still can't get 4.6.7 to load properly and waiting for answer from Hasselblad)
