Please excuse the following blatant self promotion.
I have been circulating profiles for the Leica M8, and quite a few people who use C1 like my renderings. I'm not saying my profiles are objectively good, just that people like them.
I would be very interested in doing something similar for digital backs. If I could get my hands on some backs, I would be delighted to try, and maybe make a deal for that profile to be distributed with the back. Camera profile editing is a black art, so although manufacturers have technical superior ability they might still be interested.
