Title: Turn off Checking Files at Start Up?
Post by: Randal32 on March 06, 2007, 06:37:02 pm
So, while testing Lightroom, I have imported almost 100,000 files off 3 hard drives.

All in different folders of course.

But when starting it checking all the damn folders trying to find 100,00 images.  This bogs down my comp and slows down my workflow.

Can I turn this  process off so just to focus on the one folder that I am using.

Thanks,
Randal

Randal,
From what I know, you should be operating different libraries, maybe 3? Then you could just go into the mode where it asks for the library.
