What does it mean? I've imported my iPhoto library and some of the shots (by which I meant the thumbnails in the library grid view) have the icon in the bottom right-hand corner.

I really must get a book, I suppose. Oh for the days when large, complex pieces of software came with something more than a very thin booklet.

What does it mean?

The symbol means that some adjustments has been made to the image, i.e. exposure correction. I would think that either LR are reading the settings you have done to the images in iPhoto or you are importing the images and applying a setting to them (but then all images should have the symbol).

I'm looking forward to Martin Evening's book...
