Is there a discount available for Adobe Lightroom for purchasers of Pixmantec's Raw Shooter / Premium 2006? I remember an email from Adobe when they bought Rawshooter saying that we get Adobe Lightroom for a discount or free. Is this correct? Thank You

Adobe is on record in the past day or so confirming that on the 19th, RSP (not RSE) owners will get an email (to the Pixmantec address of record) offering free activation of LR v1.0

Tim,
Your post regarding "free activation" implies free download somewhere..... True? Do you have any info?

They're offering a 30 day free trial when it's released on the 19th. That sounds like a download.

It's a download and will be exactly the same software as purchasers of the boxed editions will receive, except that you will have to burn a backup cd of the file if you need one. Rawshooter owners previous to a specific date (when Adobe purchased the software) will receive a free copy.
It's all good. Adobe is a wonderful company. I am looking forward to making LR my first step in the workflow. It's a delightful program.
