Title: Another smoky river shot
Post by: OnyimBob on January 04, 2007, 11:36:46 pm
A year or so ago I posted a shot of the river at my place with autumn smoke haze creating a mood I liked and had some great feedback especially regarding cropping.
Here's another one - same river, different spot, and the smoke this time is from the bushfires near here which have so far burned about 800,000 hectares (nearly 2 million acres) of forest.
Again, it's the cropping I'm interested in, as well as any other critique people might have.

It feels like there is a path or something on the left side.  My eyes kind of follow it.  I'd probably crop just to the green on the left to remove that as a distraction.  Nice image.  (Some more brutal crops look good, too.)

No path, just a low area by the river. Thanks for your comments Mr Dark Penguin.
