Title: printin boarders on Epson 2400
Post by: freedda on December 23, 2006, 05:29:41 pm
With Epson 2400:

I'm wondering how much area on edge of paper is needed if I'm not using borderless printing?

And if I do select borderless printing, can I still print with a slight border, or does it automatically fill the sheet?

I'm trying to print two 5.3 x 7.3 inch images side by side on an 8.5 x 11 sheet, which would only leave 0.2 inches on each edge (on 11 inch dimension of paper)

I also thought of making them one 8.5x11 image and printing borderless.

Best. David.

on my 2400 the letter-size when i choose my paper in "page setup" shows a 0.13 border on all 4 sides, and the borderless sheet feeder shows 0.00 border on all sides.  in your instance, i would pick "sheet feeder borderlerss letter size" to get full use of the 8.5x11.  theoretically though, the 0.13 should be enough without being borderless, but i would still not use it as it would be cutting it pretty close (0.07)!
