Title: Mounting 40 x 30 prints

I have a few 40 x 30 prints I would like to mount as inexpensivly as possible for a short exhibition. Any suggestions for doing this for as little $$ output as possible? I was considering sandwiching between sheets of plexiglas, but not sure how to fasten the 2 sheets together. Any thoughts?

One thought would be a 40x30 frame from american frame is something under $20.  Get your glass at home depot and back with cardboard.

Although one risks print damage (in a gallery this is usually guarded against) you can simply use grommets (you can get small 'eyelets' at the craft store) and pin the print into the wall. It may sound crude, but done right it can look good, minimalist, but probably best for a gallery situation.

Your idea of using two sheets sounds good and museums sometimes use that method. You might check with a museum or plastic shop about how it is done. I've also thought of mounting on aluminum or masonite.
