Title: Lightroom "library"
Post by: indianavince on November 07, 2006, 10:29:32 am
I am a little confused about importing everything to the Library.

My usual process is to drag from cards to folders. Open folders in PS CS and edit.

With lightroom I am creating and saving files twice (thee times with back-up).

How do you then coordinate changes made in lightroom with original folder?

Am I thinking too much?

You need to "import" via reference - Reference files in existing location. This way, your files will stay in their respective folders. As for coordinating the differents versions, how about adopting a naming scheme?
See the enclosed screenshot of the import panel.
