I have a epson 4800 running through EFI XF server software.
The issue is that we set it upo to print on the roll, but then changed later to needing it on precut paper. so we tried to switch it over with the paper select button...
no luck.
the we tried by removing the paper roll.
and ever since it is trying to print a cancelled job onto the roll! we have definitely cancelled the job, the printer has been turned off, factory reset, a dozen times and everytime it gets back up it asks for it paper roll again!
The print server has also been rebooted.

Did you change the paper souce selection in the print driver dialog box? My guess is that roll paper is still selected and the printer is tring to print from what was chosen. Refer to pg 86-89 in the 4800 manual.
