Title: QTR for DaVinci Fibre Gloss
Post by: colourperfect on October 17, 2006, 02:43:11 pm
Hi,

I notice that a few people here have tried the DaVinci Fibre Gloss paper which is probably the Same as the Innova Fibre Gloss.

What settings / Curves do you use from those 'shipped' with QTR ?

Have been trying to create my own but the instructions are not that complete and concise.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Ian

Hi Ian
I use Da Vinci Fibre Gloss with QTR.  I have not made any custom curves yet as I don't own a densomiter.  I use the curves for Ilford Smooth Pearl - which seem to work quite well (I amso use the smooth pearl paper).
I think the diferences in the curves are quite small - I am sure you will see improvements using correctly calibrated curves for each paper but to be honest - I pretty much like what I get with the curves I have.

I usually print with a cool-warm curve at 45% (slightly warm)

Let me know if you do find some curves
