a nice shooting locale and a nice capture.

I find the image to centered. Some contrast and saturation would not go amiss. Just my thoughts; the image is yours.

Best.

The composition is fine imo, however I agree about the contrast and saturation. A good waterfall image imo needs drama?

Thanks for your comments. It's a place of quiet reverence, why does that need to be more saturated? I'm much more on the Eliot Porter end of the scale than the instagram end...

Good for you, Guido. I also prefer realism to Technicolor fake oomph.
Nice shot just as it is.

I like it pretty much exactly how it is. The placement in the middle fits very well, and at least for me it is pretty contrasty and saturated. Only thing that comes to my mind is a tighter crop, but I guess you tried that and stayed with this for some good reason.

Thank you for your kind thoughts!

That is the funny thing, as I have been feeling that it is a touch too contrasty and have been working on a more subtle presentation in versions I'm printing. As to the crop, yes it is a favorite subject and I have shot it from many viewpoints and cropping variations and feel that this strikes the best balance of detail and context.
