Title: The Show
Post by: MattBurt on July 05, 2018, 10:44:53 am: My home town does a big fireworks show and people come from all over to see it. I usually try to get a good photo each year and the Chamber or tourism board usually wind up buying one or two for their promotional materials.
It almost got cancelled this year due to high fire danger but apparently the show must go on. Some local folks were upset they didn't cancel.
This year I hiked up the small mountain ("W Mountain") next to town for this perspective. Seems to be going over pretty well on social media.

A couple of years ago near this location doing the same thing I came across a big bull moose! No moose this year, thankfully.

Thanks Peter. I enjoy the hiking and that was how I discovered this alignment. I knew I'd have to come back for the fireworks. It was a beautiful evening and although there were thousands of people down there I had this mountainside to myself!
