Title: silvestri bicam users?
Post by: marcwilson on October 11, 2006, 12:16:13 pm
Are there any users of the silvestri bicam system (7000) out there?
If so could you give a qucik run down of the pros (and cons if any) of th esystem.

Thanks,

Marc

Marc, I've never actually used the Bicam, but I use a few Silvestri accessories on my Linhof M679, and they've all been well designed and well engineered. My Linhof dealer also handles Silvestri and Alpa, Silvestri look to offer near Alpa quality at a more accessible price.

Hi Gary,

Yes I am currently looking at the bicam system..very flexible and certainly cheaper than the alpa.
Not as much movements as the cambo wds but many other plus points.

I assume your dealer is linhof studios?

How do you find them generally?

I can go either to them or morco whom have so far, on the phone, been very helpfull.

Cheers,

Marc
