Last week I got insanely lucky while shooting in northern Alaska and was able to photograph noy only Ross's Gull but also Yellow-billed Loon.
So lucky!!!!

Sweet. Well executed too.

Lovely. One of my fondest memories is of being out on Lake Superior, off the coast of Isle Royale, in a paddle boat with my dad at twilight listening to loons calling to each other.

Never seen one but these are pretty neat birds. Great shooting!
