I certainly admire the intent but each shot seems to have an extraneous item in it that is out of place as always to me eye.
The first one has the lady's face on the right. Personally I think she's an irrelevance.
The second has a gentleman on the right - he's certainly interesting but he's also competing in my view pointlessly.
Hmm, maybe this is me as once again it's the figure on the right.
Hmm, maybe my thoughts here are worthless :)

Interesting. I like the second photo, even though or perhaps because it has less distortion on the players.
Good idea.
-
Omer, Mike, thanks for your insights. Always good to have feedback!!

You need to get that camera checked, Ivo.

No, I don’t Russ. It is fine like this.

You must have dropped it. Hard.

Yes, I probably dropped the camera, you’re right.
-
I could tell. Just by looking at the pictures.

You are truly amazing.

I'd make alternates of #1 & 2 with the right-most people cropped out, per Mike, though I'm not sure they'd work better. I do like the movement in the photos, though.

It's very hard to capture movement showing the 'just right' amount of blur. I find the skies are problematic as they always seem to end up being too bright. These do seem to convey the energy of the scene and the enjoyment.
I guess Ivo has his camera insured so he's not too worried about dropping it :)

Sure Mike, I dropped a camera once, in the studio, at a moment the model, unannounced, dropped all here clothes. Since then I hold my gear in a strap around my wrist.
In this series I tried to convey the savage rythme of the band using extra slow shutter speed.
I find film more suitable the capture movement. I guess it has to see how film cumulates the light vs sensor.
Tx for the feed back

Quite nice, any special reason why you used medium format film? Or was that just your camera of the time?!

Kind of intellectual masturbation I guess.
Haha. No, I’m in love with the 6*7 format. Large negative and 1 to 1 on photo format paper in the dark room.
And the Mamiya 7II in combination with the 43 is a smashing combo.

Ivo
Somewhat stupidly I had never thought of how the different technologies would gather the light for a long exposure. Thinking about it now I imagine that film would have a different quality to it being a chemical process.
If were a rich man I think I'd possibly still have a wet darkroom. But I'm not so I don't.

Reciprocity failure put to advantage? :)

I don’t really know if it is the phenomenon that also cause reciprocity , Dave.
Apart from the difference between film and sensor how light is accumulated, the difference in shutter system play a not unimportant role as well . Curtain vs central....
-
When you say curtain against central are you saying the lens had a leaf shutter in it? If so I agree leaf shutters and movement are quite different to focal plane shutters.

Yes, leaf shutter is the correct English name.
-
I quite like the second one.
The first and last are a bit blurred for me to focus :)
Best.
