Title: Christmas in Africa
Post by: Martin Kristiansen on June 09, 2018, 06:29:52 am
For us Christmas is about hot weather and lazy days outside. Might seem odd for northern hemisphere folks. For kids it’s all the same, pure excitement.

Good catch of a relaxed and happy family.

I spent the 1997 Christmas season in Singapore. The city was very much into faux-fir/spruce/pine trees, multi-colored lights strung across all sorts of things and even smiling, rosy-cheeked Santas. I'd experienced Christmas in mild Bay Area California weather in the early 1980s, but never with 30°C+ temperatures.  :)  Gotta say I really enjoyed it.
