Might as well figure out what the userbase looks like ...
Preview means the little screen at the back.

A P25 on a V-Hassy

eMotion 22 on a Rollei 6008AF

*sigh*, still using Portra 160nc in my RZ67.
-
I voted Leaf no preview (Leaf Valeo 22 wi) but I have the iPaq with DP67 so technically I have a preview.

Hi Folks

My Mamiya 6 doesn't have a "preview", but it is one of the nicest-handling film cameras I've used. Very sharp lenses. The main problem is that after many years of SLRs, I often find myself with a blank image or two at the start of a roll (until I remember to take the lens cap off. )
I haven't been able to part with it even though I have done almost no film shooting for the past two-and-a-half years.

hi Edmund,
would be great to put Sinarbacks, instead of eMotion in your list: eMotion is only one type among a dozen other existing Sinarbacks. Like there is Phase or Leaf.
thanks,
Aon

Hi
Isnt it amazing that there are still so many film users! No agonizing over software issues , poor wideangle performance and closed or opensystems etc. etc. and they still have lots of money in the bank!
thanks Ivan

i did vote, however, eMotion is not my back, since there are many type of Sinarbacks and eMotion is just one of them. better put Sinarbacks, like Leaf, like Phase One.
thanks,
Aon

I feel like a dinosaur here with my Kodak 645M on Mamiya 645AFD.
The worst thing is that I use my D2X's & D200 much more on a day to day basis which is truely sad.
-
Graham, don't feel bad. I'm slumming too with my Kodak ProBack on a Contax 645. Damned if they didn't start offering Aptus 17's refurb'd for not much more than my kodak back about 6 mos after I bought it!
-
P25 with H2.
Edmund, still trying to figure out which Back/Combo you use.
-
I use an Aptus on different systems. (Hassie 553ELX, TrueWide, MiniWide & Digiflex)
-
I'm using a Sinarback 54H on a P3 and Contax 645. In 4-shot mode for still life it is pretty amazing.
Not bad in 1-shot mode either, useable, but a little too slow for people.

I'm now using the Imacon IxPress 132C with Vmount Hassys and the Horseman SWD Pro cameras. My D2x gets the most workout though.
Interesting that there's so many Phase backs being used, must be the C1 software, is it ??

it is amazing that so many shooters still use film...I always loved film but it became clear to me about3-4 years aog that if I wouldn't be switch I would be left behind...how many people still paint like rembrant and Van Gogh on commercial basis?? Until I purchased my Leaf A65 very very recently I felt frustrated with the created images...always to digital to me...but now I almost happy...I just wished "they" would come out with professional "film" color choices...because when I used film I choose a certain brand for their colors (kodak for the more golden skin tones and Fuji for the more realistic ..little redder and greener...results) now the sky is the limit...which makes it very hard..because there are just many possibilities and most of them look great!
20 years from now...film will be like the rotary phone...my kids won't even know that it ever existed...makes me a little sad.....just a little!
