In a couple days my wife and I will be traveling from our midwestern US home to the UK - London, to Leeds, and then meandering up into Scotland. Our youngest daughter is in a study abroad program at Leeds University and before returning, we're all going to do a bit of site seeing.
I plan to take my camera and shoot some travel photos for our family enjoyment. However, I'd also like to take the occasional street photograph and was wondering if there are any restrictions I should be aware of. It was recently brought to my attention that new privacy rules in the EU could apply to street photography. Just wondering if there's anything similar in the UK I should be aware of.

Nothing special to worry about. The new "privacy" rules in the EU apply here too, but are more about privacy of data about people.

Thanks, John.
