Title: Searching the Luminous Landscape
Post by: alexramsay on October 06, 2006, 06:58:53 am
Much as I enjoy the Luminous Landscape pages, there is one area where I feel improvements might be made. When the site is searched for, say, software reviews, there is no immediate way of telling which are the most up-to-date entries (as far as I know). Things change fast in the digital world, and it's all too easy to find yourself reading a review of something from several years ago. Might it be possible for the search engine to arrange search results in date order?

The search engine is provided by Google. We have no input as to how it works.

The reviews have been dated (lower right corner) for the past year or so. I'm afraid that other than to hire a team of researchers to scour the many hundreds of reviews and catagorize them by date, there is no solution.
