Interesting stuff, Rob. I checked his B&W, which are excellent, and had to laugh at the angle he chose for Ranches de Taos. I've photographed that church many times. Since the old days when Ansel did it, they've added a gas meter on the front, which sort of spoils the purity of the thing. Simpson photographed it at an angle that bypassed the gas meter.
