Title: Cut sheet orientation for large format Canons
Post by: Ryan Mack on February 10, 2018, 07:40:18 am
I was curious if there was any speed or quality advantage to printing cut sheets landscape vs portrait on the large Canons (PRO 2000/4000). I generally print portrait because the cut sheets clearly were cut from a spool in that direction and I assume the printer is better at handling the curl in that way. But I could imagine it would print faster the other way. Lets assume there's enough of a margin that I'm not worrying about the unprintable area.

I doubt there would be any advantage you could realistically measure. FWIW, my 6300 won't accept landscape.
