I just found a stash of Sam Haskin's work

Particular favourites are the self portrait with model and tea... plus one for Rob and Moira

Moira can go find another carrot: I'd put my money on no. 21: there's nowt like a good cup of tea!
That's a wide quotation (the set of pix) from the pages of Cowboy Kate and November Girl but then, when you set trends, it's what happens to you. For Sam, look at this guy's work: Wingate Paine. However, I think the latter really had access to a better set of models in NY than had Sam in SA and then London...
Rob.

My pleasure, Riaan.
Trouble is, it proves again, as if it were necessary, that it's hard to soar with the eagles if all you've got to play with are turkeys... and even those I can't find, which is perhaps as well, because I know I'd only disappoint myself by feeling obliged to try. I rather just keep chucking money down the lottery hole. And looking at shop windows, but most of them are just turkeys too, full of mannequins with blobs instead of beautiful faces.

Hmmm... sometimes outside the windows too... ;)
(Paris, last Sunday. Oh but you should have seen the red-head woman on the metro, sitting next to her bloke while her 6mo in the pram made eyes at me...)
