Title: Isle of Skye
Post by: Hans Kruse on January 13, 2018, 11:36:43 am
A shot from the Quiraing on  gloomy morning.

It was shot with the Canon 5DSR and the Canon 24-70 f/2.8L II lens at 24mm.

Nicely gloomy mood.
Second that feeling. The tones are just wonderful and give the image a more three dimensional look.

Very evocative. I like it very much. Just wondering if the black point could be pulled back a bit on the foreground so the blacks open up a bit. I think that would help IMHO.

Thanks very much fo the comments and I was playing with the black point to which degree I wanted it to go and felt the one here was what I liked to get the mood I was looking for.
