Title: Canon documentation on Chroma Optimizer on Pro-x000

Provides some info on CO, how it works, how to control usage and some stats on how it affects ink usage on different media and settings. Nice paper. Would appreciate a lot more from Canon like this.

I got the paper in March 2017. Creation date for document file says May 2016. I hope to see more info like this on other topics like maintenance routines and media type differences. Especially the last part.

Yes, to profile these printers you need to decide on the CO regime before printing the profiling targets and then use the same regime for making prints with the profiles resulting from those targets.

Canon Glossy Photo Paper 200gsm.

The gamut doesn't change that much, at least as measured by a regular spectro like i1Pro with idealised illumination, but color appearance "in real life" is more consistent when viewing prints from different angles relative to light source. Bronzing and gloss differential is reduced, but seldom eliminated on gloss(y) media. A nice step forward for pigment solutions.
