I like Chris audio masters for his videos.

Ahhh Fred - a compliment will get you a reply!

Tran lavalier mics for voice
Record to Zoom recorder at 48kHz
Export full voice synched master from NLE to Adobe Audition
Cleanup pops, ums, ers , clicks and weird mouth noises ))
Suppress any over modulated wild noise (Kevin's synch claps)
Normalize levels of each track to -0.1 db
Apply warming curve to voices through a custom Parametric equalizer
Apply light compression through custom Multiband Compressor
Multi track mix to balance voices
Export mix as AIFF back to NLE
Picture edit begins with fully mixed voice track. Occasionally I go back to re-sweeten a section that is bad

Audio work = 50% of edit time

Poor picture: nobody cares much.
Poor sound: people leave.

I'm a (retired) cinematographer.

True!
And ironicaly it seems that all the concerns spin arround mister
K gravity.
I should call it Dr K...in memory of Bond.
So...Dr K (4,6,8 pills) is catching the undivided web attentions while nobody talks about
Sound.
