Title: Macbook Pro Touch Bar
Post by: greyscale on December 17, 2017, 12:00:12 pm
Does Lightroom support the Macbook Pro Touch Bar?. If so, which functions does the TB use? i ask as I'm about to purchase a new Macbook Pro, my 2010 MBP has developed a red/green vertical line on the screens left side.
I know Photoshop has some support for the TB, dont use Photoshop much.
Thanks

Doesn't seem to. I'm using the latest version of the desktop (whatever they call it today). I'm on a dual display, didn't' see anything LR specific on my touch bar. Moved the main dialog to just the MacBook screen, still nothing LR specific. Maybe my testing methodology is wrong, but I don't see this newest version supporting anything.
Kind of a shame, but Adobe is spending more time futzing with all the mobile stuff than adding these kinds of useful features: off the soap box.... :-X

Update: Photoshop CC 2018 does support and show, multiple new items on the Touch bar, LR nothing. So I think my testing was done correctly.

Thank you Andrew, We can only hope the next Lightroom release will support the TB.
