Title: Question for Kevin
Post by: Kenneth Sky on November 29, 2017, 09:41:20 am
Rumours abound that Capture One is about to release version 11. Is it still your intention when this occurs to do a complete set of new tutorials?

There is so much power in C1. It can be daunting to learn in some ways but once you know how to use the features that pertain to your type of photography it is a raw processor you can't live without.  Phase One and I are working on getting the team together for a complete redo of C1 tutorial.  I'll keep you posted.

The layers tool is incredible. PSD export is fantastic.  And now all means work in adjustment layers.

Not much was done on catalogs except some new restore and repair tools, plus it loads much faster.  This is an area Phase One must improve.  I met with the developers and mentioned this. They are aware of the ned here and I trust they will be doing something in this area.

Otherwise, C1 is super powerful and has made my images so much better.

This is a must have upgrade.

Absolutely. Especially if they want to capitalise on people's dissatisfaction with Adobe's policy with LR.

Not sure. It has compelling features for some users certainly, but for more general uses maybe less so.
