Title: Home page photos

What happened to displaying camera/lens used on the home page photos and archive? Great photos but camera detail is interesting too. Change in policy?

Just trying something out.  Lots of discussions if they were really needed?  Are they?  Do readers want the info?  I can put it back in on future images.

I would like to still see camera / lens.

I'm interested, particularly in lens info.  And there are search tools that will bring up images by the camera/lens that ook them.

Definitely like to know which camera and lens were used. The exposure details are not so important to me as they are so dependent on light conditions.

Meant to write in my last post, that it would be interesting to know if the image was taken handheld or if a tripod was used.  With improved higher ISO quality these days, I find that I use a tripod less and less.  It is one less thing to carry and I am preferring to crop slightly later rather than the faff of setting up and aligning on a tripod.  I also do not like being ruled by the image size ratios that the camera offers, preferring to crop later to the ratio that suits the image so do not need to align perfectly at the time of taking.
