Middle St. Vrain Creek a few miles west of Lyons, CO on hwy 7. The creek runs along side of the hwy. Lots of nice rock formations.
Exposure was only 1 sec. Spent a few hours here before heading to work.

Nice. And the subtle colors add a lot. I think it would be weaker converted to B&W.

I love rocks and take many pictures of them. My family and most friends look at them and say/think "meh". Clearly, I'm not doing it right. Maybe we need a special "rock" thread as we have for abstracts and trees.

Nice image but it feels constricted in the foreground. I would have liked to see the close edge of the creek instead of having it cut off.

Trust me, you don't want to see the near edge of the creek in this shot. UG - GLY!
