Title: A Line of Demarcation
Post by: Leszek Piotrowski on September 07, 2017, 05:48:16 pm
Briefly stopped at French River ( Hwy 17) -- to get a "stretch" from the drive south from Sault Ste Marie Ontario.... walked about ,.. late afternoon , all was still and peaceful,... wondered if the early French Voyaguers felt the same at this place,... from here, Lake Superior is a very long paddle!,.. glad I wasn't going their way!

According to the color of the rocks, a lot of iron in that river!

Thank you Thierry, Paulo,...   not sure how much "iron elements" there is in the river, but the soil up river might indeed be on the more "acidic" side. Comments appreciated.

I'm not sure about the iron, but there are many fish in that river.
