Title: Video and audio extraction

I have one of the basic consumer video cameras  (canon)

i have some video of bison that i would like to extract the audio of there bellowing,,,is there anyway to do that with the mac suppied software,,or some feature that this can be accoomplished,,,,,

Open the video clip in QuickTime Player (I think you may need the Pro version - worth paying for)

then mark the In & Out points on the timeline and then choose File/Export/Sound to AIFF

You can also use the "Extract Audio" command in iMovie.

And then edit the extracted audio file in Garage Band :-)
