Here is an interesting link - best I can find anyway that contains Full specs. for this printer.

Interestingly...

Canon Australia [on the phone] are saying within the next two weeks for release in Australia. No mention on their website
Canon USA website says 2007
Canon UK website says 2007
Canon Europe website says 2007 - but PRO9000 as 'New'
Canon japans website translates so poorly in google I couldnt find it...

*shrug* anyones guess at this stage!

Spoke to Canon Australia today - and they are now saying both the 9000 and 9500 wont put in an appearance before 2007...

Canon USA are still showing the 9000 for October release however.

whatever that means....
