Eric has his ballet roots so in the same vein - here is some dancing pond grass that has been rather tightly choreographed.

Fascinating combination: ripples and grass! And specular highlights.
B&W perhaps?

Excellent series. Good flow in the designs.

I love them!
Slightly different choreographer from the one who designed my roots. ;)

That's looking, Chuck. Bravo!

Wonderful.

Lovely. Well seen!

Very nice Chuck. Have you tried BW versions?

Nice, the strong colour contrast does tricks on my depth perception and makes the grass appear to be floating above the water... so I wouldn't go B&W. Think of it as an extreme duo-tone :)
There is a strong feeling of Japanese woodcut, especially in the 1st and 3rd.

+1; beautiful images.

Love 'em!

Very cool.

Thanks everyone for having a look. These shots just happened to present themselves when we were out walking so sometimes you just get lucky.
I tried B&W but didn't feel that it added much, perhaps because of he limited range of tonalities. I'll revisit that again in a while.

Chuck, that's not called luck. It's called looking. And yes, you're lucky if you see something like that while you're looking, but it doesn't mean a thing if you're not looking. It was a good catch. Keep looking.

No, no, not B&W, this special color is needed, I mean at least when it shouldn't be a "pure abstract". This green is mesmerizing.

Very nice! This is the kind of thing I like to look for too.
Great find and nicely captured.

And as Arnold Palmer, or Gary Player, or someone else, is reported to have said, "The more I practice, the luckier I get".

Ben Hogan, I think.
Lovely photos. Well seen.

Beautiful work. Love the abstraction and color contrast.

Impressive work. I think #1 and #3 are stronger than #2. Really neat pictures...
