Title: Botanical textures
Post by: sdwilsonsct on July 08, 2017, 08:52:02 pm
Not too sure about #1. I aimed to reproduce a creamy colour but it feels a little muddy.  Feedback welcome.

Bear grass and false hellebore, Kootenay, British Columbia.

#1 is a nice try, but pale, with blurry mountains and blown highlights in the white floral areas.

#2 is lush, vibrant :)

#2 is good, more suitable for the type of lighting that it seems to have been available at the time.

Yes, #2 is good with those rich colors. I'm not so hot on #1, though.

Houston, we have a consensus. Thanks!

I'll do some more work on 1, but it may turn out to be just a record shot.
