Title: Best way to calibrate BenQ 2700 monitor
Post by: Kenphoto on June 30, 2017, 11:59:20 am
Hi,
I have a BenQ 2700SW monitor that I purchase based on information I got from this site. Thanks, I love it.
I an using the Spider5 to calibrate it. Am I better off if I use the software from the Spider to do the calibration or use BenQ's Pallet Master? I have used the Pallet Master in the past but every day Spider5 keeps telling me I haven't created a profile.

Thanks,
Ken

Simply uninstall the Spyder 5 software, and keep using the BenQ Palette Master Element software. PEM can drive the monitor hardware directly, including setting calibration data into the monitor's own LUT, whereas the Spyder software can't do this.
