My friend and I visited the Olympic peninsula in May 2014. Here are two of my favorite images from the visit to the Quinault Rain Forest, Hoh, La Push, and Eastern side of the peninsula. Although somewhat dwarfed by its neighbor, the Hoh, the Quinault is not a slouch. It has some small but beautiful waterfalls and is a great area to learn waterfall/long exposure photography. In May, we hardly saw anyone near any of the waterfalls & streams. You will find here (https://muralipix.com/2017/05/14/olympic-peninsula-wa-early-may-2014/) the trip report including all my favorite images with location info.

I really like the sunset, Murali, although there's some purple fringing to the upper right of the stack which looks odd.

The Olympic Peninsula really has so much to offer and see. Since there is so much National Forest land surrounding it you can really explore deep into the land there. I spend most of my free time out there. Such a beautiful place!
