Title: Review of US National Monuments - get your voice heard
Post by: Alan Smallbone on May 19, 2017, 02:46:37 pm
The current government is reviewing 27 existing National Monuments and is thinking about changing them and adding things like oil exploration and things that will permanently damage them. Get your voice heard. The website below has links to the official commentary site for the US Gov. Comments for Bear's Ear are due by May 26 so time is running out. Get your voice heard. The other monuments are up until July. There is also a free ebook with pictures from these monuments.

Government land grab by lame duck president mainly to prohibit mining, oil and gas exploration.
They should make California a national monument before we have no land left.

Thank you Alan for posting this.
These sacred places obligate us to protect them.

One can also petition your federal representatives and ask that these national monuments be designated as National Parks
