Having a very strange issue with my Eizo CG 211, perhaps someone here can help diagnose and remedy
Using this with mid 2012 MBPr 10.12.14 and a ColorMunki device
Monitor is older but never had an issue until today's routine 200hr target adjustment
ColorNavigator updated itself automatically while the adjustment was starting (this never happened before) and partway through the grey balance adjustment the colors started to go screwy (see attachments, like 60's psychedelia, whites blown out, blacks heavy and). I tried many times to redo the adjustment, trash the profile, create a new profile but cannot solve the issue
Interesting points to note:
When I start ColorNavigator to adjust the target or make a new target the problem disappears but comes back as soon as I quit or finish the adjustment procedure
Restarting doesn't help, nor does deleting/reinstalling ColorNavigator
Booting from a previous clone does fix the issue but I don't know how to use that to fix this as I don't know which files are affected
After the boot from the clone, restarting to the internal drive at first the issue did not reappear (screen was normal) until the very end of the starting up process, then the screen went screwy again
Can anyone help?
I'm guessing something is corrupt but no idea what, where, how to resolve

I've uninstalled and reinstalled ColorNav, deleted and reinstalled old profiles from clones and Time Machine backups but no luck, changed the monitor settings in System Prefs, all are wacko colors
But still booting from a clone shows no problem so it can't be a hardware issue ... can it?
Must be something corrupt in the system software
Laptop screen is unaffected

When I make a new profile or adjust an existing target at first the screen is fine and it stays fine through most of the grey balance adjustment part of the programs routine
Once it starts reading the color patches it goes haywire
-
Trying other variables
Connected the monitor to another MBPr (about 2 years old) that it had never been used with before
This computer does not have ColorNav installed
Screen is still wacko posterized psychedelic
Looked at the profile being used by the new computer for this screen and somehow it is the same profile so apparently Eizo is loading it's profile automatically to the new system. When I choose a different profile from the new computers list the colors change but all are still wacko
I can't tell if this is hardware, software or what
The Eizo is old, from early 2009 and has 9500 hours
Is it dead?

The solution is in the link (not the Night Shift but changing priority to Contrast in adjusting the target in ColorNavigator)
To adjust your current profile, you will just need to do the following:
1. Click "Create a new target..." below targets.
2. Select "Use an existing target" and click 'Next'
3. Select the target you are currently using from the 'Target' drop down
box.
4. Check the box in the bottom left of this window that says "Customize
target" and click 'Next'
5. Leave all the values as is, until you find the page to adjust to
priority. This is were you set the priority to "Contrast"
Wacko colors gone

Hi: I have had dthe same problem and it appears to only be a problem with a few monitors...
the following link will bring you to EIZO's website..

3.2 Change ColorNavigator setting
Objective Mac: All
Even when you set the Night Shift function to Off, this problem is caused by monitor’s color changing due to OS’s problem (*). At this time, we cannot avoid it by the setting of OS side, so please change priority setting of gamma adjustment of ColorNavigator to “Contrast”. Preset targets of ColorNavigator 6 are “Gray balance” or “Standard” and you have to create new target.

Spoke to eizo rep two days ago and tried the contrast option. It works? However as my 222 monitor is not my main work station I will just drop the issue and use the contrast or xrite software for the 222. Until it is fixed.
