Title: R2400, PS CS & Mac OSX 10.4.7 Trouble
Post by: Kevin_S on August 07, 2006, 01:09:55 am
Hi Folks,

Big problem here. My Epson 2400 is consistently adding .2" (2 tenths of an inch) to both the length and width of my prints. Before I print I check the image and canvas sizes and both are correct, then I goto print with preview where the correct print size is displayed in the scaled print box, see attached image, but when the print comes out of the printer, it is 7.7" x 9.7".  Any Ideas why this is happening?  I'm sure there is a setting either in the operating system or PS that I need to change, but for the life of me I don't know what it is.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

It may be that in the page setup you are selecting one of the borderless options.
If this is so there are a couple of options available.
1 in pagesetup select a non borderless option.
2 in print setup there is an expansion sub menu where you can alter a slider for the amount of expansion, (the default is MAX = 6mm or .25 in).
