Title: Video Newbie - Canon 5D MkIV - What are your default "User Defined" settings?

Coming from RAW/Still photography, I'm trying to get my head around the (relative) limitations of video, and I'm wondering what settings people use to generate, as much as possible, a capture file with the maximum editing potential?

I'm going to be using a Canon 5D MkIV, so I am interested in those using same or similar.
