It has been raining for days so the streams are full of water. I realise that I am about a decade late for the long exposure look but it looks right to me. This beck is in Borrowdale in Cumbria in the English Lake District. All comments welcome. Ken

Thanks for the comments. Last version done on laptop. Redone on desktop with much darker wide gamut monitor. This is much lighter with a bit cropped off the bottom. I hope that this hasn't detroyed the mood. Ken

The first was notable in its somber mood, beautiful in its own right.
The redo is spectacular! You've kept the mood but given it a sparkle that sets up even greater three dimensionality. It's really tactile.

The second version is enormously better processed. I'm not sure how relevant the crop is, but the overall result is excellent.

I think it's a great use of long exposure - this image - perfect. I think the first image is too dark and probably could use more saturations in the greens - and the framing is good. Because it's so dark you miss the "curving light line shapes" in the water in the near foreground/bottommost part of the original post (and some of the color). Pulling the dark shadows up you start to see them - and they are very interesting shapes - worth accentuating and keeping as they add to the overall scene. Then the lowest portion of the frame starts to contribute to the rest.
