Title: 2100/2200 with hahnemuhle 308
Post by: alexramsay on August 02, 2006, 08:43:57 am
Just trying Photo Rag 308 with my Epson 2100 (A3 size). The first couple of prints are good except for a faint mark on each side of the image about 3cm long and 1cm wide, at the front i.e. where the paper is taken up by the printer. Is this to do with the weight of the paper? I've tried reversing the image and in each case the marks are at the front edge of the paper. I've also tried the 'envelope' setting on the printer and the same thing happens. Has anyone else come across this?

It sounds as if the pickup rollers are marking the paper.
Try feeding the paper as if it was roll paper, this dosnt use the pickup rollers.

Thanks - do you mean feeding the paper in from the back (Epson matte board recommendation)?
